Silk Touch Keratin treatment is a complex of botanical and organic extracts – almost 100% – mixed in a perfect balance. This mix allows to get rid of curly, frizz, voluminous hair, get excellent results and nourish and strength the hair fibers. It guarantees shine, softness and visibly healthy hair. Recommended for all hair types.

Silk Touch Keratin treatment formulation uses blends of organic acids, sugars, amino acids, cellulose derivatives and plant proteins to modify the hair fiber and leave it smooth and stable for long periods of time with an impressive reduction in volume and without damaging the keratin disulphide bonds. It also reduces hair water absorption, protecting it from humidity, salt water and rain. The product contains no formaldehyde or other harmful Aldehydes. Volume reduction is exceptional and hair is left bright, easy to comb and ever so soft to the touch. This treatment is recommended for All Hair Types as well as Colored, frizzy or natural hair.

MAIN INGREDIENTS: Organic acids, hydrolyzed wheat protein and surfactants derived from olive oil.

DIRECTIONS:

Step 1.
Shampoo the hair with Hair Bar NYC Basic Shampoo; shampoo the hair twice for normal or dry hair, three times for oily or thick hair.
Step 2.
Rinse the shampoo thoroughly and towel dry the hair well. Remove the remaining moisture using a blow dryer, until hair is about 80% dry.
Step 3.
Divide the hair into four (4) sections – separate the hair along the crown of the head, then split the hair down the middle.
Step 4.
Starting at the nape of the neck, take out a thin section of hair and apply Silk Touch Keratin Treatment. Comb the product through the section of hair, making sure the whole section is saturated with the product. Continue to repeat Step 4 until all of the hair is saturated with the product.
Step 5.
Allow the Silk Touch Keratin Treatment to process for thirty (30) minutes. **Optional: For resist hair. Put the client under the dryer for 15-20 minutes.
Step 6.
After the processing time is complete, rinse the hair for ten (10) seconds if the hair is virgin, fifteen (15) seconds if the hair is chemically processed. **Do NOT use HOT water!
Step 7.
Towel Dry the hair, then apply a few drops of Silk Touch Remedy Serum and proceed to dry the hair with a blow dryer until hair is fully dry.
Step 8.
Divide the hair into four (4) sections, using the same technique as in Step 3.
Step 9.
Starting at the nape of the neck, take out a thin section of hair and begin flat ironing that section from the roots to ends. Flat iron the same section six (6) to ten (10) times, depending on the strength and texture of the hair. The flat iron temperature should be set between four hundred (400) to four hundred and twenty (420) degrees Fahrenheit. Maximum heat should be used only on extremely resistant hair. Continue this process until all the hair is flat ironed. Be cautious of the ends during this process, especially if the ends are dry or brittle.
